Rescue Time: Great Produtivity App

June 26th, 2009 in Entrepreneurship
RescueTime

It is amazing throughout the course of the day how little time consuming activities add up to eat up hours of everyday. This is especially true for online activities like checking e-mail, website stats, etc.

RescueTime tracks how much time you spend using certain websites and applications so that you can see what you are spending too much time and ways to cut back. The program even allows you to set goals (I want to spend less than an hour on GMail) and receive real-time RSS updates to see whether or not you are on track to meet your goal.

It is a great free application to increase productivity.

This looks interesting, with quick glance RescueTime seems to integrate tasks I’ve been using free tools into one.. I probably won’t jump on it as I’m so used to using GMail, GCal and such. But eye-candy graphs get me everytime, so it’s a close call :)
